Why Do We Need a New Hospital?

The current facility was built in 1959 and while healthcare practices have changed greatly, the facility has seen no major renovations.
Facility and major systems are beyond capacity and the cost of renovation is impractical.
We can no longer attract additional specialists or add new services.
Facility does not offer the space necessary to accommodate modern medical practices, equipment or meet life safety code requirements.
Majority of rooms are semi-private with shared bathrooms.
Our citizens DESERVE it!
An aging facility will continue to result in increased outmigration of patients with commercial insurance as well as increased maintenance costs.
